Mega Parent Teacher Meetings (PTMs) were organised across the three districts â Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli, and Alluri Sitharama Raju on Friday (December 05, 2025). The meetings focussed on academics, students performance and steps to improve their performances. Public representatives and officials from the district administration participated in the meetings and received feedback from the parents.
In Anakapalli district, Minister for Home and Payakaraopeta MLA V. Anitha took part in the Mega PTM held at ZP High School in Payakaraopeta. Speaking on the occasion, she said that the Mega PTMs would contribute significantly in shaping the students bright future. She further said that amenities in the schools have been improved under the NDA government which led to a substantial increase in student enrolments. She instructed teachers to strictly implement âNo Bag Dayâ on Saturdays, so that children can spend the day joyfully.
The Minister said that boys and girls should be raised equally and also urged parents to pay special attention to the behaviour of boys. Children should be taught basic laws from a young age, she added, and warned that bad habits and a reckless lifestyle can destroy their future.
Ms Anitha also heaped praises on hockey players from Nakkapalli region who are excelling at the National level. She also assured that the Payakaraopeta main road would be completed soon.
She interacted with the students and parents. Cultural performances by students were major attraction.
