Minister for Home Vangalapudi Anitha on Friday (December 05, 2025) said that the government would take special care of physically challenged children and ensure that they on par with other children in education. After attending Mega Parents and Teachers meeting, the Minister visited Sri Gurudeva Charitable Trust located at Mangalampalem of Kothavalasa mandal of Vizianagaram district.

She interacted with the founder of the trust Raparthi Jagadeesh Babu, who informed her that the Trust has been supplying artificial limbs to many children across the State. She said that light weight artificial limbs would enable children to walk freely and attend schools regularly. She promised that the government would help differently-abled children to lead life confidently by providing all facilities including ramps in educational institutions.
