The Telangana Rising 2047 Vision document that the Congress-led A. Revanth Reddy government is set to unveil at the Global Summit next week in Bharat Future City is getting final touches.

A group of senior officials led by Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao are reviewing the final changes to the document, following inputs and suggestions from various government departments.

This follows a review meeting the Chief Minister chaired last week in which he asked his ministers and department officials concerned to thoroughly discuss and examine their respective focus areas in the document and share the findings.

Sources in the government said around 1,000 delegates, from business leaders, academicians, think tank representatives and leaders from multilateral development banks, will receive the copies of Telangana Rising 2047 Vision document during the summit. The document is aimed at positioning Telangana among the top States globally in the next two decades.

Final edits related to the document’s aesthetics and design aspects are being taken up. The document is being written in English, Telugu and Urdu and besides distribution of the hard copies, the soft copies of the same would be uploaded on government websites.

The document will lay the roadmap to achieve a rich and equitable Telangana for all. The goal of becoming a $3 trillion economy is envisioned through a combination of strategies — empowering youth, farmers and women-led development and social inclusion. The vision lays out one of the boldest and most future-ready development roadmaps in the country.

The cover page would feature an illustrative skyline of the proposed Bharat Future City, reflecting an ambitious perspective of the State government’s growth plans for coming years.

The Telangana Rising 2047 Vision, whose launch coincides with two years of the goevrnment, will lay emphasis on a number of aspects from measures to enhance the ease of doing business as well as to attract talent. The plan is to showcase Telangana as the first Indian State to attract best of minds, not just money.

Cutting-edge agri tech

By 2047, the State wants an average Telangana farmer to be a producer, processor, brand owner and exporter. The document envisions a future where the State’s farming community embraces both cutting-edge technologies as well as sustainable approaches like organic farming.

It will also seek to amplify the government’s aim to create one crore women millionaires in Telangana by providing opportunities, skills, and financial independence, thereby transforming lives and drive the State’s growth.

The foundational measure will be an emphasis on universal access to quality schooling, digital learning and STEM exposure, preparing girls for a knowledge economy, sources said.
