Classroom for children of migrant workers inaugurated in State-run school in Karimnagar district

A classroom exclusively meant for the children of migrant workers was inaugurated by District Collector Pamela Satpathy at the Mandal Parishad Primary School in Gattubuthkur village of Gangadhara mandal in Karimnagar district.

According to sources, the initiative is aimed at ensuring provision of elementary education to the children of the migrant workers mainly working in local brick kilns, 42 children of migrant workers have already been enrolled in the State-run school.

Arrangements have been made to provide uniforms, books and mid-day meals to these students. Additionally, plans are afoot to conduct medical camps for these children.
