The Students Federation of India (SFI) on Friday claimed that it had won 104 out of the 190 seats in the election held for the posts of university union councillors under Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat).
The federation will be able to reclaim the Cusat students union from the Kerala Students Union (KSU) this time through the victory earned in the first round of the election, said a release issued by the district committee of the SFI.
It claimed that the combine of the KSU, Muslim Students’ Federation, and the Fraternity Movement could secure only 86 seats in the election.
