Complaints submitted during the weekly Grievance Day will be resolved on priority, APCRDA Additional Commissioner A. Bhargava Teja said on Saturday while interacting with farmers and workers from the capital region.
The APCRDA organised Grievance Day at its headquarters in Rayapudi to address issues raised by farmers, agricultural labourers and residents of the capital region. Several petitioners submitted representations on village boundary disputes, street alignments and registration of returnable plots. Officials from various wings of the APCRDA attended the programme and resolved some complaints on the spot.
Stating that negligence in addressing public grievances would not be tolerated, the Additional Commissioner instructed department heads to ensure swift redressal. He urged farmers to make use of the weekly Grievance Day held every Saturday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Rayapudi office.
A total of 80 complaints were received, including 75 related to land issues in Amaravati, two from Social Welfare Engineering, one general Social Welfare case, one pertaining to Development Promotion and one related to LPS infrastructure.
Senior officials including Director (Lands–Capital City) Vasantha Rayudu, Chief Engineer G. Venkateswara Rao, GRM Nodal Officer P. Jayasri, Special Deputy Collectors, departmental heads and tahsildars were present.
