Special trains to aid stranded passengers amid Indigo flight cancellations

South Western Railway, in coordination with Central, Southeastern, and Southern Railways, has announced special train services between December 6 and 10 to assist passengers affected by large-scale Indigo flight cancellations.

 South Western Railway will operate services including Chennai Egmore–KSR Bengaluru (December 7 and 8), Bengaluru–Chennai Central (December 8), Yesvantpur–Hazrat Nizamuddin (December 7 and 8), and Bengaluru–Pune (December 7 and 8). 

Central Railway will run Pune–Bengaluru specials on Dec 6 and 7, while South Eastern Railway will operate Shalimar–Yelahanka services on Dec 7 and 9. Southern Railway will run Ernakulam–Yelahanka specials on Dec 7 and 8. 

Passengers are advised to check official railway channels for timings and reach railway stations early.
