Namakkal district has digitalised all the filled-in enumeration forms that were returned by the voters under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR).
Namakkal district has a total of 14.66 lakh voters in six Assembly Constituencies: Namakkal (2.64 lakh voters), Rasipuram (2.35 lakh voters), Senthamangalam (2.49 lakh), Tiruchengode (2.32 lakh), Paramathi Velur (2.22 lakh) and Kumarapalayam (2.61 lakh).
The enumeration forms were distributed from November 4 and the filled-in forms were received by the Booth Level Officers (BLOs). By Friday evening (December 5, 2025), 100% of the forms from all the six Assembly Constituencies were digitalised in the district.
Officials attached to the Election Commission said that the draft electoral roll will be released on December 16, and the number of dead, double-entry, shifted, and non-tractable voters will be announced. For instance, in the Tiruchengode assembly constituency alone, there are 11,110 dead voters and 16,271 double-entry voters. In the draft electoral roll, the exact details of these voters will be released.
Once the draft electoral roll is released, voters can apply to include their names in the list or appeal against the deletion or correction in the voters list by January 15. After verifying these appeals, the final list will be released on February 14, officials added.
