As per the High Court order, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on Saturday announced the revised provisional results for the third round of seat allocation for medical and dental courses.
The provisional results announced by KEA on October 24 stand cancelled as per the High Court order, said H. Prasanna, Executive Director, KEA.
âIf there are any objections to the revised provisional results, the candidates should the same by e-mail (keauthority-ka@nic.in) by 3 pm on December 7,â he added.
The final results will be announced after 11 am on December 8. Those who have been allotted seats should pay the fee by December 10 (by deducting the fee already paid). He clarified that the seat confirmation slip should be downloaded and students report to the colleges by December 11.
The seats have been allotted considering the preferences/choices already registered by the candidates. He said that those allotted seats in this round will have to report to the concerned colleges compulsorily.
âAll the candidates have been considered for the 443 seats of the 9 colleges newly added in the third round. Out of the candidates who got the 443 seats, a total of 301 candidates have already got the MBBS seat in the first and second rounds, and all the candidates will also be considered for the 301 seats that will be vacated by them,â he explained.
Mr. Prasanna clarified that the seats that were available at the beginning of the third round and the seats that were cancelled due to various reasons till December 5, and the remaining seats after the seat allocation in the above order will be considered for the seat allocation as per the rules.
