R. Vasanthagopal awarded DLitt – The Hindu

R. Vasanthagopal, senior professor and head, Institute of Management in Kerala, Kerala University, has been awarded the DLitt in Commerce by Madurai Kamaraj University, Tamil Nadu, in recognition of his two decades of research in the areas of financial literacy and financial inclusion in India.

Dr. Vasanthagopal had earlier served as Director of the School of Distance Education. He was also a senate member and Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies at the university. He is presently the Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and a Syndicate Member of Mahatma Gandhi University.

He will receive the degree at the convocation ceremony Madurai Kamaraj University on December 12.
