HYDERABAD
Bhongir MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy strongly criticised Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, accusing him of making contradictory statements and failing to be accountable towards Telangana.
Emphasising that the Telangana government is hosting the Global Summit to showcase the State’s strengths and investment potential in an international platform, he said that “Mr. Kishan Reddy is misleading people with false statistics”.
“Instead of shouting fabricated figures on microphones, he should present clear accounts of which departments received ₹13 lakh crore,” he said, asking why Mr. Kishan Reddy failed to safeguard Telangana’s interests under the “corrupt BRS rule”.
The Congress MP also condemned the overnight transfer of the ‘Semiconductor Project’ from Telangana to Andhra Pradesh, demanding an explanation.
He urged Mr. Kishan Reddy and also Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar to attend the Global Summit and instil confidence in the delegates.
“If you truly bring development, you will earn a good name. Telangana people should not have to view you as villains. Support the State’s development,” he added.
“When good is happening to Telangana, BJP leaders burn with jealousy. People are watching everything,” he said, appealing to Mr. Kishan Reddy to use his influence for the development of Telangana rather than obstructing progress.
