112 IndiGo flights cancelled at Hyderabad airport today; total disruptions cross 600

Flight disruptions at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) continued on Monday (December 8, 2025) with one 112 IndiGo services cancelled for the day. The cancellations include 58 arrivals and 54 departures, adding to the strain on passengers who have been grappling with uncertainty for several days.

As the IndiGo disruption enters its sixth day, the total number of flight cancellations at Hyderabad airport since December 3 has crossed 600.

IndiGo on Sunday (December 7, 2025) issued a status update stating that operations had resumed at 137 of its 138 destinations. The airline said it was on track to operate 1,650 flights for the day, compared to 1,500 flights on December 6. It also stated that its on-time performance had risen from 30% on December 6 to 75% on December 7. A full waiver on cancellations and rescheduling requests for bookings till December 15 has also been announced.

Despite these assurances, passengers continue to struggle with the cascading impact of the cancellations. Many passengers took to social media to vent their plight.

“You have ruined three days of our life with your pathetic management. I had a flight from Guwahati to Hyderabad which got cancelled twice. I had to take another flight to Mumbai and then a train to Hyderabad which made me lose days of work and my aged father had to go through the pain,” wrote Poornima Ramachandran on X

“I am stranded with no clarity on my flight from Hyderabad to Surat. I have requested a cancellation and full refund, but there has been zero support. My father is unwell and depends on timely medication and food. This delay is critical for us,” said Nawrah Fatima.

“My flight from Hyderabad to Bagdogra has been cancelled, and there are no alternate airlines available. I am stuck in Hyderabad with no way to get home. Please assist urgently,” said Soumi Mukherjee.
