The annual conference of the National Neonatology Forum (NNF) of India ‘NEOCON 2025’, which began on December 11, 2025, at Novotel in Visakhapatnam, brought together leading neonatologists, paediatricians, researchers, and healthcare professionals from across the country.

The conference started with 14 specialised pre-conference workshops conducted across different hospitals and venues in the city, offering delegates valuable hands-on training and practical skill enhancement on the inaugural day.

The concluding day of the conference, on Sunday (December 14), will feature a rich blend of international expertise, award‑winning research, and future‑focused discussions. These include: genetic testing, postnatal CMV infections, and revised jaundice guidelines. An international lecture on ventilation challenges sets a high academic tone, followed by a debate on early total enteral nutrition and sessions highlighting the Indian Sepsis Risk, according to Dr. V.C. Manoj, president of NNF.
