Pennagaram MLA G.K. Mani, on Sunday, said the alliance to be formed by PMK founder S. Ramadoss will come to power in Tamil Nadu in 2026.
He told reporters the New Year special general council meeting and executive meeting of PMK (Dr. Ramadoss’s faction) will be held in Salem on Monday morning. Functionaries from across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry will participate. Everyone is expecting that during the meeting, Dr. Ramadoss will announce the alliance for the 2026 Assembly elections.
Mr. Mani said that Dr. Ramadoss met with party functionaries in every district over the last one week, and asked their views on the election alliance.
Later, Dr. Ramadoss, who came to Salem, told reporters that the general council would empower him to decide on the alliance for the elections.
