Kadapa MP flays State government’s treatment of Pulivendula constituency

Kadapa MP Y.S. Avinash Reddy lashed out at the TDP-led NDA alliance government in State for meting out step-motherly treatment to Pulivendula constituency, represented by former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Addressing a media conference here on Monday, he blamed former MLC Mareddy Ravindranath Reddy (B.Tech Ravi) for plundering the constituency for the last 18 months, instead of developing Pulivendula. Mr. Avinash Reddy also alleged that the 8,000 houses built during the Jagan Mohan Reddy regime had been left completely neglected since the NDA government took over.

Similarly, the MP pointed out that the Jagan Mohan Reddy government had sanctioned ₹480 crore for the Pulivendula water grid project to provide drinking water to every household in the town. “Even 60% of works were completed during the erstwhile government, but the current government has not taken it forward,” claimed Mr. Avinash Reddy.
