By bagging the highest number of orders ever for traditional coal-based thermal power projects from public and private utilities, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd.’s (BHEL) has reaffirmed its position as a market leader in the power sector, S. Prabhakar, Executive Director, BHEL Tiruchi Complex, said here on Thursday.
Addressing employees on the occasion of BHEL Day at the factory, Mr. Prabhakar reiterated the importance of timely delivery of quality products and services to the customers. Meticulous planning, efficient procurement, precision manufacturing, optimum utilisation of resources, and swift and error-free execution are the need of the hour, he said.
He underlined the importance of adopting a result-oriented mindset and innovative solutions with renewed focus and coordinated efforts across all departments to meet the operational challenges. He urged employees to multiply efforts for timely completion of ongoing projects and maintaining BHEL’s reputation as a dependable supplier.
He said five employees of BHELTiruchi have won a BHEL Excel Award for 2024-25 for indigenisation efforts.
Earlier, Mr Prabhakar unfurled the BHEL flag and administered the BHEL Day pledge to employees and officers.
