Southern Railway has advanced the departure timings of various trains on account of revision of timetable with effect from January 1, 2026.
Train No.56713 Madurai – Rameswaram Passenger will depart at 1 p.m. instead of 1.50 p.m. Train No.22624 Madurai – Tambaram Express (Thrusdays and Saturdays) will depart at 8.35 p.m. instead of 8.45 p.m. , a statement said.
Train No. 16729 Madurai – Punalur Express will depart at 11.15 p.m. instead of 11.20 p.m.
Train No. 56752 Tiruchendur – Tirunelveli Passenger will depart at 7.05 a.m. instead of 7.10 a.m.
Train No. 56004 Tiruchendur – Tirunelveli Passenger will depart at 10 a.m. instead of 10.10 a.m.
Train No. 56717 Dindigul – Madurai Passenger will depart at 7.55 a.m. instead of 8 a.m.
Train No.16791 Thoothukudi – Palakkad Junction Palaruvi Express will depart at 9.40 p.m. instead of 10 p.m.
Train No. 16850 Rameswaram – Tiruchi Express will depart at 2.50 p.m. instead of 3 p.m., the statement said.
Train No.22621 Rameswaram – Kanniyakumarai Express will depart at 8.50 p.m. instead of 9.15 p.m.
Train No.56742 Sengottai – Tirunelveli Passenger will depart at 10 a.m. instead of 10.05 a.m.
Train No. 56772 Sengottai – Madurai Passenger will depart at 12.20 p.m. instead of 12.45 p.m., the statement said.
Train No.56751 Tirunelveli – Tiruchendur Passenger will depart at 7.10 a.m. instead of 7.15 a.m.
Train No.56753 Tirunelveli – Tiruchendur Passenger will depart at 9.55 a.m. instead of 10.20 a.m.
Train No.56775 Tirunelveli – Sengottai Passenger will depart at 6.10 p.m. instead of 6.20 p.m.
Train No 56757 Tirunelveli – Tiruchendur Passenger will depart at 6.35 p.m. instead of 6.50 p.m.
Train No. 76835 Tiruchi – Dindigul Passenger will depart at 6.05 p.m. instead of 6.10 p.m.
Train No. 22627 Tiruchi – Thiruvananthapuram Intercity Express will depart at 7.15 a.m. instead of 7.20 a.m.
Passengers can update the revised train timings enroute with NTES website, the statement said.
