Road rage: scooter rider booked for flashing a dagger at a car driver

The Kadugodi Police have registered an FIR against a scooter rider for allegedly threatening a car driver with a dagger following a road rage incident on Friday evening.

The victim, identified as A. Reddy, shared the dash camera video and tagged the City Police Twitter (X) handle, seeking police action.

Based on the video evidence, a police constable from the Kadugodi Police Station lodged a complaint. The accused was identified through the scooter’s license plate number of the scooter as Arbaz Khan.

Police have booked the accused under relevant provisions of the Arms Act and Sections 351, 352, and 126 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

According to the complaint, the accused allegedly pulled out a dagger during a heated argument on the road, abused the complainant, threatened him with dire consequences, and issued death threats before fleeing the scene.

The police have launched a search operation to trace the accused and take further legal action.
