On Governor’s letter
The Speaker said no response would be given to the copy of the letter sent by the Governor’s office asking for an explanation on the Chief Minister’s ‘unauthorised’ amendments to the policy address in the Assembly. The Speaker said he had received a copy of the letter marked as highly confidential, while the original was sent to the media. There was no need to give a response to the copy of the letter, he said.
