The 9th National Conference of Correctional Administrators from all States and Union Territories, will be held by the AP Prisons department on January 28 and 29, at Sai Priya Resorts in the city.
The two-day event will bring together prison heads of all States/UTs in the rank of DG and IG to exchange ideas, and insights in the field of prisons and correctional services.
Around 75 participants from States/UTs in the rank of DG 85 IG and 55 senior prison officers from Andhra Pradesh Prisons Department are expected to attend the programme.
Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar will attend the event as chief guest. Home Minister V. Anitha will attend the concluding ceremony.
