The Andhra Pradesh State Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, has approved a series of key decisions aimed at accelerating industrial growth, tourism, agriculture, and infrastructure development across the State.

Addressing a press conference after the Cabinet meeting, Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Minister Kolusu Parthasarathi said that one of the major highlights was the approval to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Singapore during the upcoming 30th Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam on November 14 and 15. The MoU will strengthen cooperation in digital governance, human resource development, and sustainable urban management.

Among the other important decisions, the Cabinet approved financial assistance to the Andhra Pradesh Airports Development Corporation Limited (APADCL) for repayment of HUDCO loans. The government has also been authorised to issue a ā€œLetter of Comfortā€ to support the process.

To promote tourism, the Cabinet approved land allotments for the proposed Adventure Thrill City at Bhavani Island and a major amusement park-cum-resort at Thallapalem near Machilipatnam in Krishna district. The government also gave its formal nod to the Quantum Computing Policy, aimed at positioning Andhra Pradesh as a national hub for quantum technology and innovation.

In a major boost to Amaravati’s development, the Cabinet sanctioned ₹595 crore for the construction and operation of Flood Pumping Station-2 at Undavalli and ₹1,863 crore for infrastructure works in Zone-8 of Amaravati, including roads, drainage, and utilities. The CRDA Commissioner has been authorised to secure ₹7,500 crore in financing from NaBFID for zone development and ₹1,500 crore from APPFCL to fast-track capital infrastructure, the Minister said.

The Cabinet also approved the establishment of a Mega Handloom Cluster at Dharmavaram in Anantapur district to improve the livelihoods of traditional weavers, with land to be leased at a concessional rent. It ratified the earlier decision to provide a ₹5,000 crore working capital loan through the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) for paddy procurement during the Kharif 2025–26 season and confirmed the continuation of the Annadata Sukhibhava–PM Kisan scheme, which provides ₹20,000 per year to each farmer family as financial support.

Further, the Cabinet approved raising the government guarantee ceiling for paddy procurement operations from ₹39,000 crore to ₹44,000 crore for the Kharif 2025–26 season, he added.
