Acting Director General of Police, G. Venkatraman, on Sunday reviewed the security arrangements proposed for Marudhu brothers memorial day on Monday and Muthuramalinga Thevar guru puja on October 30.
Accompanied by senior police officers, he inspected the Marudhu brothers statues near Teppakulam, Muthuramalinga Thevar statue at Goripalayam junction and the VIP route.
He also inspected the City Police Office, District Police Office and the Armed Reserve Grounds.
Earlier, he had visited Pasumpon in Ramanathapuram district.
