As the sun dipped behind the horizon on Tuesday evening, the Makhan Singh Athletics Stadium within the Artillery Centre here took on a festive glow as its façade lit up in the colours of the national flag. The venue was prepared for the Agniveer Combat Spectacle, an event showcasing the combat readiness and physical training of Agniveers who have completed their training cycle.

The programme opened with a performance by the Military Band, whose patriotic repertoire set the tone for the evening and drew the crowd into a steady hum. The Agniveers then took to the field for a synchronised yoga demonstration, followed by a series of combat drills that highlighted the skills and discipline they have acquired during training.

In one of the most animated segments of the evening, the Agniveers performed a sequence of floor exercises and stunts in their physical training uniforms. The display escalated with a fire-ring jump, where trainees leapt through a burning circle to loud applause from the stands.
