A three-day workshop sponsored under the AICTE ATAL-VANI scheme and organised by the Department of CSE (AI & ML), Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), Mysuru, commenced on Thursday.
Faculty members and postgraduate scholars from various parts of the State are participating in the programme.
Inaugurating the event, Karthigeyan, CEO of Logycent, said that Artificial Intelligence would supplement the human workforce rather than replace it. He outlined the latest developments in AI and the transformative changes the technology is driving across various sectors.
He also spoke about industry requirements and the emerging opportunities available for researchers and learners in the field of AI. Participants were encouraged to apply the insights gained at the workshop to address real-world problems.
VVS honorary president Gundappa Gowda presided over the event. Prof. Dr. Aditya C. R. and Dr. Vijay C. P. were present.
