Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology is bringing revolutionary changes into the education system in the country, said Prof. K. Srinivas, Head of the ICT and Project Management Unit at the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA).
He was addressing the staff during an inaugural of five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “AI Integration in Teaching and Research,” organised by the Department of Computer Science at Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU)-Kakatur campus in Nellore on Monday (December 01, 2025).
Mr. Srinivas said that the AI tools are extremely useful in improving the quality of research and making complex concepts easily understandable for students. The participating faculty members will receive comprehensive training on the effective use of AI tools during the five-day sessions.
VSU Registrar Dr. K. Suneetha inaugurated the programme. Speaking on the occasion, she advised the faculty members to stay updated with rapidly evolving technologies and enhance their teaching effectiveness by adopting innovative tools.
