Cricketer Ambati Rayudu inaugurated the Phoenix Cricket Academy in Bolarum and urged aspiring cricketers to be disciplined and parents to be supportive.
The former Indian cricketer said a career in sports is now being taken seriously, given the immense opportunities at various levels, but one needs to be focussed and work under dedicated coaches to excel. He said the Phoenix Cricket Academy, run by Daniel Manohar, former Ranji cricketer and Shashank and Madhukar Reddy Kaila, have the facilities to groom budding cricketers. This is the second academy of Phoenix in the city.
