The Innovation Hub, that was launched in 2021, under the auspices of the Anna Science Centre-Planetarium in Tiruchi, has opened enrolment for school and college students, and members of the public.
In an official release on Friday, R. Ahilan, project director (in-charge), said the Innovation Hub would begin its admission drive from December 1. The annual membership fee for private school students of Classes VI to XII are ₹1,000 and for those from government schools ₹500. Fees for undergraduate and postgraduate students of private colleges are fixed at ₹1,500, while for government colleges, it will be ₹750. For private researchers and innovators, a fee of ₹2,000 will be charged.
Members will be able to explore subjects such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, and bio-science, electrical and electronic devices and robotics through the facilities provided by the Innovation Hub.
The admission process ends on December 10.
