The ongoing annual Brahmotsavam at Tiruchanur reached the penultimate day on Monday (November 24, 2025) and it will conclude with Panchami Theertham and Dwajavarohanam on Tuesday (November 25).

On the eighth day morning, the idol of Goddess Sri Padmavati Ammavaru was taken on the mammoth wooden chariot in a procession around the temple. Rathothsavam commenced in the auspicious Dhanur Lagnam at 9:15 am and covered four mada streets.

Seeking the blessings of the Goddess, thousands of devotees participated in the pulling of the chariot with great enthusiasm. Later, “Snapana Tirumanjanam” was performed to the processional deity in Sri Krishna Mukha Mandapam.

On the same day evening, the idol of Goddess Sri Padmavati Ammavaru was taken on ‘Aswavahanam’ in a procession around the temple. Along with the devotees and priests, Tiruchanur Deputy Executive Officer (DEO) P. Harindranath and other officials participated in the programme.

Pontiffs of Tirumala, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal and Joint Executive Officer (JEO) V. Veerabrahmam were also present on the occasion.
