‘Arudrotsavam’ performed at Srisailam – The Hindu

“Arudrotsavam” was performed to the processional deities Goddess Sri Bhramaramba and Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy at Srisailam temple on Sunday (November 09, 2025). The temple management takes out the processional deities on the Golden Chariot on “Arudra Nakshatra” every month. As part of the ritual, “Mahanyasapurvaka Ekadasa Rudrabhisekham”, “Annabhisekham” and other pujas are performed to Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy. Artists performed traditional dances, kolatam, and mangalavaidyams ahead of the Swarna Radham.

Meanwhile, the temple witnessed heavy rush of pilgrims in view of the auspicious “Karthika month”. Temple authorities made elaborate arrangements for the devotees in the queue lines and distributed annaprasadam and hot milk.
