Auroville secretary calls on Finance Minister

The Secretary of Auroville Foundation and Additional Chief Secretary of Gujarat, Jayanti S. Ravi, called on Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Delhi on Thursday (November 20, 2025) to extend an invitation for the upcoming Auroville Literature Festival, scheduled to take place in December.

A press note said the Minister’s presence was also sought for the ‘Margazhi Utsavam’ celebrations in Auroville.

Ms. Ravi also briefed the Finance Minister on the latest developments, progress, and ongoing initiatives in Auroville, highlighting the Foundation’s commitment to fostering cultural, educational, and sustainable growth in alignment with the vision of The Mother and Sri Aurobindo, the press note said.
