The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) is geared up to present the 35th National Energy Conservation Awards (NECA) on December 14. The BEE is working in close coordination with the Union Ministries concerned, State Designated Agencies (SDAs), and stakeholders across public and private sectors to make the event a success.

The 35th edition of NECA will honour outstanding accomplishments in energy savings, innovation, and sustainability across multiple categories, namely industries, transport, buildings, institutions (State/SDA – based on State Energy Efficiency Index), energy-efficient appliances and innovations in energy efficiency, and the newly introduced digital content creators and influencers category.

“NECA emerged as a symbol of India’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and climate responsibility. It fosters healthy competition among stakeholders and motivates them to achieve greater energy savings and sustainable outcomes,” BEE Director General Dheeraj Kumar Srivastava said in a press release.
