Both ruling and Opposition blocs made last-minute appeals to voters and highlighted key promises as campaigning for the second phase of the Bihar Assembly election for 122 constituencies ended on Sunday (November 9, 2025). Voting for the 122 seats will be held on Tuesday (November 11).

Union Home Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Amit Shah addressed public meetings in Sasaram and Arwal. Targeting the Mahagatbandhan (Grand Alliance) over ā€œinfightingā€, he said there was ā€œno vacancy for the Chief Minister post in Biharā€.Ā

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed rallies in Chatapur, Narpatganj, Bisfi and Sikti constituencies. He said the Rashtriya Janata Dal and Congress will ā€œpuncture Bihar’s developmentā€.

Mr. Kumar also addressed public meetings in Rohtas and Aaurangabad districts and said his government had taken important steps in the fields of education, health, road construction and women empowerment. He too appealed to voters to ā€œnot allow the return of jungle rajā€.

Mr. Gandhi, while addressing rallies in Kishanganj and Purnia of Seemanchal region, said the people of the country are being cheated by ā€œvote theftā€, which was an attack on the Constitution.Ā
