The ongoing airline crisis has affected Bangalore Literature Festival – 2025, scheduled to begin on Saturday.

“We have nearly 250 authors participating in the festival. Nearly 5% of the authors have had to cancel due to the ongoing airline crisis. Others are making to the festival as per schedule,” said V. Ravichandar, one of the organisers of the festival.

For many authors, there are no alternative flights available. For some, there are no return flights available according to their convenience. Some, who are travelling from neighbouring States, are driving down, sources said.
