BMTC to operate new fleet of seven AC Vajra buses on ‘V NICE-10’ route

The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has announced the introduction of a new fleet of seven air-conditioned Vajra buses on route number V NICE-10, operating on the Madavara-Magadi Road-Mysuru Road-Bannerghatta Road-NICE Road-Electronics City, from December 1.

The corporation announced the introduction of NICE Road Vajra Monthly Pass to enhance the convenience of commuters travelling regularly via NICE Road. The pass will cost ₹3,400. The holders of the NICE Road Vajra Monthly Pass are permitted unlimited travel during the validity period on NICE Road Vajra services, Vajra (AC) services, Vajra and ordinary Vayu Vajra feeder services, NICE Road ordinary services, all ordinary services (excluding special services).

“Commuters are required to pay applicable toll charges when travelling on tolled corridors other than the NICE Road. The pass holders may also travel on Vayu Vajra (Airport AC Services) by purchasing an additional ticket along with their pass, similar to existing Vajra pass holders,” a release added.
