The mortal remains of Vanapalli Prasad (35), who died in an accident in Ashdod city, in Israel, on September 30, reached his native place of Ravulapalem in Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema district on Tuesday.Â
According to an official release issued by District Collector R. Mahesh Kumar, Mr. Prasad died on duty in an accident at the the cement factory in which he joined in May 2024.Â
The Konaseema Centre for Migration in support of the AP Non-Resident Telugu Society (APNRTS), contacted the Indian embassy in Israel for the repatriation of the body of Mr. Prasad.
