Diljit Dosanjh in the first look from Border 2

A new poster of Diljit Dosanjh from the upcoming war-actioner, Border 2 was unveiled by the makers on Monday, December 1, 2025. Directed by Anurag Singh, who has earlier helmed Kesari, Punjab 1984, Jatt & Juliet and Dil Bole Hadippa!, the film also stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, Medha Rana, Mona Singh and Sonam Bajwa in pivotal roles.
In the poster, Diljit is seen flying an aircraft in the middle of an intense battle. The makers wrote in caption, “Iss desh ke aasmaan mein Guru ke baaz pehra dete hain (Guru’s eagles guard the sky of this country)”.
Border 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta. It will be released in theatres on January 23 next year.
The film is a sequel to the 1997 patriotic film, Border, which also starred Deol alongside Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff and Akshaye Khanna. Helmed by JP Dutta, Border told the story of an important chapter from the 1971 India-Pakistan war and was a major success at the box office.
