BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao has asked the youth and students in the State to launch a struggle, ‘Vidyarthi Ranabheri’, against the Congress Government, starting from ‘Deeksha Diwas’ on November 29, the day on which K. Chandrasekhar Rao launched an indefinite fast for statehood to Telangana in 2009.

Mr. Rama Rao said that BRS and its frontal organisations would lead a struggle on the issues of residential schools and fee reimbursement and expose the government’s ‘betrayal’ of the youth in the matter of education and employment. BRS would take up large-scale protests in all constituencies next month.

He asked students to fight as warriors against the Congress, including on social media by holding Deeksha Diwas in all universities and colleges. KTR held a meeting with the student wing of the party (BRSV) and discussed the action plan. He explained how the BRS Government in the past had improved the quality of education by establishing a large number of residential schools and colleges, and medical colleges in all districts.
