Bharathiar University has, through its Centre for International Affairs (CIA), generated ₹1.5 crore revenue carrying out post-graduate and Ph.D. admissions.
As part of the collaboration with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) to promote international academic excellence, the university, under the guidance of Higher Education secretary P. Shankar has received ₹50 lakh in the first phase.
“This achievement marks a significant milestone in the university’s journey of international collaboration and financial growth,” R. Rajavel, registrar, Bharathiar University, said.
Pradeep Kumar, zonal head (south), ICCR, Bengaluru, visited the university during September, 2025, and appreciated the state-of-the-art infrastructure, academic facilities, and research environment, P. Nagaraj, coordinator, CIA, said.
