Call for advanced medical innovations in veterinary sector

Multidisciplinary research is increasingly required to bring new innovations for animal health and productivity, said Dr. D.V.R. Prakash Rao, chairperson and managing director of Chennai-based Prakash Foods & Feed Mills, while addressing students at College of Veterinary Science in Tirupati on Thursday (December 4).

He was speaking as chief guest at 2nd P.G. national conference on the special topic ‘Impact of Veterinary Research and Innovations on Animal Health and Productivity’ organised by Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University. On the occasion, he stressed on the urgent need for the collaboration of various government departments, universities and industries.

“The AMI (Advanced Medical Innovations) is the future of veterinary sector. Opportunities in this field are increasing immensely and the students should seize every opportunity to grow,” Mr. Prakash Rao said, while giving a message to the students to further strengthen the future of the veterinary field.
