The Pondicherry State Students and Parents Welfare Association has urged the authorities to increase public participation in the Vigilance Awareness Week being celebrated nation-wide under the auspices of the Central Vigilance Commission.
In an appeal to the Lt. Governor, Chief Minister and others, the Association president V. Bala Balasubramanian, said with the calls being issued right from the top to promote integrity and ethics in all aspects of life during the week-long celebrations, the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti Corrupton should direct all departments to conduct public awareness meeting as per guidelince of CVC.
