The Kulasekaranpattinam police have registered case against social media influencer G.P. Muthu of Udangudi and 4 of his family members for allegedly assaulting a woman.
When the sons of Muthu were riding bicycles along the streets of Perumalpuram near Udangudi reportedly without giving way for others, M. Bala Amutha of the same area asked them to ride the bicycle along the left side of the road.
As the boys informed their father about this incident, Muthu, his wife Ajitha, younger brother Esakkimuthu, his wife Anita and father Ganesan went to the house of Ms. Amutha and picked up argument with her. She was allegedly assaulted by Muthu and others. She has been admitted to Tiruchendur Government Hospital for treatment.
Following a complaint from the victim, the Kulasekarapattinam police have registered case against Muthu and other four.
