The Centre for Continuing Education Kerala (CCEK), functioning under the Higher Education department, and Edunet Foundation recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch a transformative skilling initiative aimed at empowering youth and faculty across Kerala with high-demand digital competencies.
The MoU was signed by CCEK director Ishita Roy and Edunet Foundation head (government relations and partnerships) Nidhi Jain in the presence of Higher Education Minister R. Bindu.
The collaboration aims at delivering industry-aligned training programmes in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cloud Computing and Web Development.
The two signatories will also jointly implement capacity-building programmes targeting students and faculty members across polytechnic colleges, engineering colleges, and arts and science colleges in Kerala.
Training will be delivered through a blended model, combining instructor-led sessions and hybrid formats. No fee will be collected for the training, a press note stated.
