Changes in train services in Rameswaram due to track renewal work

The Southern Railway has made certain changes in train services due to line/power block provided for track renewal work.

According to statement issued here, Train No. 56714 Rameswaram — Madurai junction passenger (scheduled departure at 11.40 a.m. daily) and Train No. 56713 Madurai — Rameswaram Passenger (scheduled departure from Madurai at 1.50 p.m. daily) have been fully cancelled from November 7 to 10; and on November 12, 14, 15 and 16.

Train No. 16849 Tiruchi — Rameswaram Express, leaving Tiruchi at 7.05 a.m. from November 7 to 10; and on November 12, 14, 15 and 16, will be partially cancelled between Manamadurai and Rameswaram. The train services will be short-terminated at Manamadurai.

Train No. 16850 Rameswaram — Tiruchi Express, leaving Rameswaram at 3 p.m., will be partially cancelled between Rameswaram and Manamadurai on those days. The train will be operated from Manamadurai at 4.55 p.m. to Tiruchi.
