The Charaka Mahila Multi-Purpose Industrial Co-operative Society, in association with the State Handloom and Textile Department, will host a three-day Handloom Exhibition-Fair and Craft Workshop in Bengaluru from November 7 to 9 at Chitrakala Parishath, on Kumarakrupa Road.
Soumya Reddy, president of the Karnataka Pradesh Women Congress Committee, alongside K. Jyothi, Commissioner of the Handloom Development Corporation and Director of the Handloom and Textiles Department, will inaugurate the event.
A highlight of the fair will be the release of Sadhana Rao’s book The Charaka Story, in the presence of Prasanna of the co-operative society.
The exhibition will showcase a wide range of handloom, organic, and handicraft products from across India, and will feature live training sessions for visitors. The fair will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
