Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu presenting new clothes to a housing beneficiary, at Devagudipalli in Annamayya district on Wednesday.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday participated in the house-warming ceremony of the beneficiaries of the housing scheme, at Devgudipalle in Rayachoti constituency of Annamayya district.
Mr. Naidu joined Hemalatha and her family in performing the ‘gruhapravesam’ rituals and presented new clothes to the couple. He later visited the residence of another beneficiary, Shaik Mumtaz Begum, where he participated in the namaz, and gifted new clothes to her family.
Interacting with the beneficiaries, Mr. Naidu urged them to live in harmony and avail of all the welfare schemes of the government, besides seeking the intervention and guidance of the officials, whenever they required.
Earlier, the villagers extended a warm welcome to Mr. Naidu by showering flower petals to the accompaniment of traditional music. Ministers K. Parthasarathy and M. Ramprasad Reddy, and District Collector Nishant Kumar were present.
