Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inspected the works on the SIPCOT industrial estate that is coming up in Dharmapuri and Nallampalli blocks here on Monday.
The SIPCOT industrial estate spread over a sprawling 1,733 acres is being set up at Adagapadi village in Dharmapuri block and in Thadangam, Adiyamkottai and Balajangamanahalli village in Nallampalli block. The Chief Minister inspected the infrastructure including roads, storm water drains, and other structures that were currently under construction.
He also inspected the new municipal bus stand that is being established at 10 acres in A.Reddihalli in Sohathur panchayat. He was accompanied by Minister for Public Works E.V. Velu; Minister for Agriculture M.R.K. Paneerselvam; Minister for Tourism R. Rajendran; Minister for Transport and Electricity S.S. Sivasankar, Managing Director of SIPCOT K. Senthiraj and Collector R. Sadheesh.
