The Telangana government has announced that invitations would be extended to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi to participate in the Telangana Rising Global Summit to be held on December 8 and 9.
National and international representatives would be invited to the prestigious, scheduled to be held at Bharat Future City. A press release from the Chief Minister’s office on Sunday said Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy would personally meet and invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi and AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge. In addition, Union Ministers, Chief Ministers of all States, leading industrialists, renowned economists, sportspersons, media leaders, diplomats and experts from various fields will be extended invitations.
To oversee this process, an invitation committee would be constituted under the leadership of the government’s Principal Secretary. The committee would also launch a dedicated website to track invitees, confirmations of attendance, and arrangements for hospitality and liaison support. Principal Secretary Sabyasachi Ghosh would coordinate the committee’s activities, while the Chief Minister will monitor invitation details through a dashboard.
According to Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, invitations have already been sent to 4,500 representatives across sectors, with 1,000 confirmations received so far.
