Shanghai-based China Eastern Airlines, which will restart its Shanghai- Delhi flights from November 9, said on Friday that it will raise its frequency from thrice weekly to five times a week from January 2.
After the MEA said earlier this month that China and India had decided to allow resumption of air services after a gap of five years, the airline had earlier announced thrice weekly flights starting November 9.
The flights will be operated by Airbus A330-200 wide-body aircraft, which will offer 17 lie-flat business-class seats and 245 economy-class seats.
