Chinese Ambassador to India congratulates Kerala on eradicating extreme poverty

Kerala’s declaration of having eradicated extreme poverty has received kudos from Xu Feihong, the Chinese Ambassador to India. In a post on social media platform X, he congratulated the State for its “historic achievement in ending extreme poverty. “To eliminate poverty is the common misison of humanity,” he wrote.  

Thanking the Ambassador, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said the State’s achievement in eradicating extreme poverty “reflects our shared commitment to social justice and human dignity”.
