Visakhapatnam District In-charge Minister Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy reviewed preparations for the upcoming CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam on Monday and announced that the government will inaugurate 112 industries and hold 48 key sessions during the event.
Speaking to the media after the review, he said that the Vice-President of India, the State Governor, Chief Minister and Union Ministers will be attending the summit. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to arrive in the city on the night of November 12, two days ahead of the event. On the following day, primary-level meetings will be held along with a special session with CII and state-level officials. It will be followed by a gala dinner in the evening for the delegates.
Mr. Dola directed officials that there should be no spot registration, and that delegate kits must be distributed during the registration process. He also instructed the departments concerned to ensure uninterrupted power supply, stable internet connectivity, and adequate mobile toilet facilities at various locations across the summit venue.
He shared that guests from various States and overseas would be given a a warm welcome with traditional dance performances by cultural troupes. He asked officials from the customs, immigration and police departments be alert and ensure full security arrangements were in place.
